We can define embassy as a main diplomatic office in another country of one’s country having staff of high commissioner known as ambassador that mainly falls under the sovereignty of the ambassador’s home country and are further provided with diplomatic immunity and protection from the host country.
It plays a vital role for protection of rights of those from one’s country who go for business and work overseas. A simple example of passport or any other important documents lost in abroad makes you to contact embassy for solution. Even while applying for Visa, we basically need to make contact with the embassy of that country.
The embassy works to deliver important political, social, economical, military and other events of host country to home government. Even organising official visits and preparing international treaties are done by them. Thus, it is helpful to maintain friendly relationship with host country further leading to development of their economic, cultural and scientific relations.
